GUIDE TO EPIC BRAZILIAN MEMES

The Internet is full of epic awesomeness and youPIX/SF is here to celebrate it. youPIX is the largest festival of Internet culture in Brazil, and is now hitting the road and landing in San Francisco on October 24th for a one-night fun trip inside the Brazilian Intertubes.
youPix has held more than 9 events since 2009; the most recent youPIX Festival (August 2011) drew more then six thousand people! It was the largest internet party ever held in Brazil.
Hosted by Bia Granja (youPIX curator) and Jamie Wilkinson (Emmy Award-winning software developer & Internet culture researcher, creator of VHX.tv, Know Your Meme, Star Wars Uncut, Fat Lab and much more), youPIX/SF will bring the most influent bloggers and internet thinkers from Brazil to provide you with some insights (and questions) about how Brazilian Internet users – among the most active and influential in the online world – function.
Joining a youPIX Festival is like jumping live into the Internet or surfing the web outside the browser. Internet memes, personalities, and fans come together for celebration, discussion and a live immersion in this epic revolution called Internet culture.
So… KEEP CALM, grab a towel and come have fun!
VEM, GENTE!* :)
